The public is invited to comment on the Ozarks Transportation Organization’s revision of the roadway design standards that were adopted with Transportation Plan 2040. The revisions are needed to maintain consistencies with the prior adopted standards. The OTO Design Standards accompany the Major Thoroughfare Plan and outline right-of-way widths, number of lanes, and access for roadways that appear in the Major Thoroughfare Plan.
The public comment period will continue until April 20, 2017. After reviewing recommendations and public comments, the OTO Board of Directors will decide whether to formally adopt the amendment at its regularly scheduled meeting on April 20, 2017, at noon, at 2208 W. Chesterfield Boulevard, Suite 101, Springfield, MO.
